The Green Tara, along with The White Tara, are the two most known forms of the bodhisattva.
The Green Tara is believed to be the embodiment of activity. The color green is said to be the color of accomplishment and action.
She is perceived as giving help with removing obstacles, whether they be external, or within ones own mind.
She is portrayed with her left hand in the protective mudra, whilst her right hand is in the wish-granting mudra. She is seated with her left leg folded in, whilst her right leg is outstretched, indicating that she is ready to spring into action.
All of our statues are crafted with care and precision in Nepal.
